Prior Degrees: B.A. in business from LeMoyne College, Syracuse, NY


Q. Where are you originally from? What was it like growing up there?

A. I am originally from Syracuse, NY. Growing up in Syracuse was cold; it snowed majority of the year, but it’s nice to be in Baltimore now.


Q. Did you play any sports during your undergrad at LeMoyne College?

A. I played Division 1 women’s lacrosse all four years.


Q. What do you miss most about undergrad?

A. I miss playing a sport at the college level.


Q. Do you work? Where? What do you do?

A. Yes, I do actually, believe it or not. I work at the [UB] Athletic Club as the assistant director.


Q. When you decided to seek this position as assistant director, what interested you most about UB?

A. The potential UB has and all of the friendly people, as well as its urban campus.


Q. How would you describe UB in three words?

A. Friendly. Diverse. Unique.


Q. What has been the toughest part about your work at UB?

A. I would have to say balancing a full-time job and taking classes.


Q. Where are you hoping your degree will take you ultimately?

A. Ultimately, I would like to put my MBA to use as an athletic director at the high school or collegiate level.


Q. Who do you admire most?

A. I admire my student staff at the Athletic Club because they can balance their school work and working here and do a good job with it.


Q. What advice would you give to incoming first-year students?

A. I would say, meet with and make friends with your adviser and give yourself enough time to dedicate yourself to your school work and studying.


Q. Do you have a life philosophy?

A. Work hard. Play hard.
