UB's Week of Unity, March 3 through 7, featured several campus events designed to educate, entertain and inform the community about diversity.

The week began with the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and the Diversity Dialogue Panel and Luncheon sponsored by the Black Law Students' Association, Black Student Union and OUT Law.

Motivational speaker Marlon Smith held an interactive session on March 4 in the Student Center Theater which challenged UB students to confront issues of racism and diversity.

The week wrapped up with a packed house for the "Allah Made Me Funny" tour, featuring three comedians addressing diversity issues through humor.

Smith's appearance and the comedy show were hosted by the Undergraduate and Graduate Student Senates, Student Events Board, Student Bar Association, Rosenberg Center for Student Involvement and Office of Student Affairs.
