Photo Editor

The photo editor coordinates staff photographers in covering the visual elements necessary to the stories that are printed in the newspaper. He or she will train photographers and assist in the hiring of photographers.
The photo editor is responsible for all assignments scheduled to appear in each monthly issue. If photographer does not fulfill his or her assignments, it is the responsibility of the photo editor to reassign or take the photo. The photo editor is also responsible for formatting photos prior to production.
- Requirements:
- * Strong photography skills
- * Firm grasp of Adobe Photoshop
- * Working knowledge of Macs
- * Ability to work well under deadline pressure
- * Must be current University of Baltimore student
