Public Relations Manager

The public relations manager will manage and coordinate The UB Post's participation in promotional, fundraising and recruitment events, such as the Block Party and welcome week events. This can include reader surveys, giveaways, recruitment tables, contests, etc.
This person also will create event flyers, manage publicity for participation in said events and keep the UB community informed of The UB Post's events.
Responsibilities of this position include heavy campus recruiting for both staff members and readers. The PR manager also maintains contact with various vendors, including specialty printing, donors, etc.
- Requirements:
- * Excellent communication skills
- * Work well under deadline pressure
- * Ability to work constructively with other staff
- * Maintain reliable e-mail access (including weekends)
- * Must be current University of Baltimore student
- * Ideal candidate will have supervisory experience and a public relations background
